Bianca Fae Bellomo
With a childhood spent in her father’s Boston, Massachusetts salon, Bianca has always been at home in the industry. After moving to Florida in 2007 to pursue her education, she soon followed in his footsteps, earning her cosmetology license as well as a degree in mathematics. She spent the next fifteen years mastering her craft and building a loyal client base before founding Sewn and Scissored in 2022.
Bianca approaches every project with her unique point of view based in logic and problem-solving, collaborating with her clients to develop an ideal plan for their hair which she then executes to perfection. She is first and foremost an extension specialist whose discerning eye, attention to detail, and incredible skill set make her stand out from the crowd. She provides her clients with seamless, lightweight, and comfortable hand-tied extensions while prioritizing the integrity and health of their natural hair. While extensions are her primary passion, she excels in color, cutting, and smoothing treatment services as well.
When she’s not working or dreaming of ways to improve and expand her business, Bianca can more likely than not be found at home, spending time with her dog, or taking on yet another DIY project around the house.

Riley O’Callaghan
Licensed and working in salons since she was sixteen, Riley is Bianca’s right-hand man both behind the chair and behind the scenes. She was raised in Spain and later Maryland, before making her home in Florida and briefly in New Orleans for school, where she majored in classical studies and minored in criminology.
Riley first met Bianca as a client in 2017, when Bianca gave her the best haircut she’d ever had. They soon became coworkers, and Riley often thought to herself that if she had the opportunity to train under any stylist, it would undoubtedly be Bianca. She joined the team at the start of 2024, eager to learn from and collaborate with an artist she knows to be a cut above the rest. A jack of all trades, Riley wears many hats at Sewn and Scissored: apprentice stylist, salon coordinator, photographer, web developer, designer, writer, social media manager, and dog handler.
Outside of her work, Riley is an avid reader, film enthusiast, aspiring screenwriter, artist, musician, mythology and folklore expert, and history lover.

Penelope
Stand-up comedian Penelope is the mascot and true heart of Sewn and Scissored. Those lucky enough to catch one of her live shows at an appointment will never forget the love, joy, and laughter she leaves her audience with by the end of her set. She is everyone’s best friend, a quirky goofball who is impossible not to love.
Penelope was rescued by Bianca in 2016, and when she’s not in the studio lifting spirits with her sweet presence, she’s taking a much-deserved day off.
